About Suzanne Roske

Certified Executive Coach – Design Thinking Facilitator –
Certified Public Accountant – Author – Taco Enthusiast

People are at the heart of every complex problem.

I unlocked the key to my full leadership potential while on sabbatical in Oaxaca, Mexico. I finally slowed down, reflected on what mattered, and reaffirmed my love of creative pursuits and the outdoors. I needed to stop long enough to hear myself and reconnect to my values. Coaching provides the structured time and space for you to do the same.

I will work with you to understand, maximize, and leverage the inevitable changes in your life, turning them into opportunities for self-renewal, potential, and growth.

My “Polished” Bio

I am an executive coach, connection maker, creative thinker, experienced facilitator and difference maker.

I have worked with Fortune 500 organizations, their leadership teams and individuals to navigate transitions and transformations across their business landscape. As a former partner at PwC, I facilitated experiential learning sessions for teams ranging from 10 to 500 and had the privilege to launch a new client experience across 55,000 employees.

I am a certified coach through the Hudson Coaching Institute, have a Bachelor’s in Accounting from Syracuse University, am a Certified Public Accountant, and have earned certifications in Human Centered Design and Design Thinking from The Johns Hopkins University, and IDEO.

Here’s the Real Story

I’m a human being.

I love the smell of the ocean and the feel of sand between my toes. I love bombing down a mountain with my husband and son while mountain biking. I am a taco and mezcal enthusiast. I love traveling to new places and immersing myself in new cultures. I love to paint – although my love might outweigh my talent. And above all, I love the little group of five that is my husband, kids and me.

But, like you, I’ve wrestled with the questions, “Is this all there is?” and “Am I really supposed to be doing this?”

What led me to you:

I got the promotions, served in various roles, and was recognized as a leader within my organization.

I was incredibly proud of my achievements, and I knew there were more milestones up for grabs if I wanted them. But one day it dawned on me that the prize for “eating the most doughnuts” was more doughnuts. And I couldn’t quiet the voice inside that wondered if that’s what I really wanted.

When I looked at what mattered most to me — my family, friends, making a difference in people’s lives, maintaining personal and professional balance — I realized my values and my actions didn’t match.

Up until that point, I had evaluated my “success” based on material and objective measures. As a result, I felt simultaneously trapped and scared to take the next step that would allow me to make a change and lead in a way that felt aligned with my life’s goals and purpose.

We’ve all had to re-evaluate what is important and how we will measure the success of our lives.

Some of us want more “doughnuts” but need the tools and guidance to get us there. While others are ready to forge another path… if only they knew which paths were available.

As a fellow leader, executive coach, and consultant, I understand the stress, pressure, and temporary dopamine hits that come from having a public-facing, high-powered position.

As a fellow human being, I know what it means to question what you have always wanted, how you should lead, what you should do, and what you can achieve.

I have walked this journey to figure out who I am and what I am supposed to be doing. I am equipped to help you do the same.

Vamonos is an oasis for professional renewal, leadership discovery
and next-step acceleration.

¿Qué significa vamonos?

Vamonos is Spanish for “Let’s Go!” and is a nod to Oaxaca, Mexico where my dream of establishing an executive coaching practice centered around values-based alignment began.

It is so very hard to put abstract leadership development principles into practice. To really transform, you must apply your enhanced capabilities in new and unique ways, introduce ambiguity, challenge yourself, unlock insights and build new habits. Vamonos strives to provide the kind of environment where emerging and experienced leaders can learn to create their own framework of leadership and reach their maximum potential, without losing themselves along the way.
