Limited to Eight Women
The Vamonos Experience
A Pause for Possibilities
Reconnect. Reimagine. Return to Yourself.
A week in Oaxaca, Mexico, designed for accomplished women who are ready to reconnect with who they are and rediscover what’s possible.
You’ve led teams, raised families, and hit every milestone that was supposed to mean something. But lately, there’s a question underneath all of it. Not a crisis. Just a persistent, honest sense that something more is out there, even if you can’t quite put your finger on it.
More alignment. More purpose. More of a life that feels more like yours and makes you feel alive again.
This feeling deserves more than a long weekend. It deserves real space, real reflection, and the kind of honest conversation that never quite happens when life is moving at full speed, and everyone needs something from you.
This is that space.
LEARN MORE
You Don't Need to Blow Up Your Life. You Need This Week.
There’s nothing wrong with the life you’ve built. You built it well. And you’ve outgrown a part of your life that used to fit. It’s not a crisis, and it’s not a problem; that’s what happens when you keep growing.
Maybe you’re thinking: I can’t justify leaving for a week. Or: I’m not sure I’m struggling enough for this. Or: Will one week actually change anything?
Here’s the honest answer to all three: You don’t need to be in crisis. You don’t need a year. You just need to be willing to stop long enough to hear yourself think.
A Pause for Possibilities distills the essence of a full Adult Gap Year into one powerful, purposeful week. The week is built on the same principles of adult learning that shaped Suzanne’s own deliberate pause.
Women consistently make more progress in this single week than in six months of one-on-one coaching. The difference isn’t the amount of time. It’s that this week is uninterrupted, intentional, and shared with women who are equally committed to doing the work.
You don’t need a year. You need this week.
This is What Possible Looks Like.
Three Women. One Week. Three Different Outcomes.
One woman came who had never really chosen her path — it had chosen her. She was good at what she did, and she had kept doing it for so long that by the time she arrived in Oaxaca, she had stopped believing anything else was possible. That began to change during the week. At the waterfall at Las Salinas, whatever she had been carrying finally let go. She spent the rest of the week following an inspiring possibility she hadn’t seen in years.
Another woman came hoping to figure out her next career move. She left with something she hadn’t expected — clarity about how she actually wanted to live. When her family asked what she’d decided, she told them she’d answered a bigger question. When you know how you want to live, figuring out what comes next gets a whole lot easier.
And then there was the woman who had spent so long taking care of everyone else — her team, her family, her clients — that she had quietly stopped taking care of herself. She hadn’t noticed how much of her had gone missing until she had space to look. She went home changed. Her 13-year-old daughter noticed it first: “My mom came back a different mom. She’s much happier.”
That’s what a week can do.
“The Vamonos Experience gave me exactly what I didn’t know I needed — space to reflect, reconnect, and walk through fear with strength I didn’t realize I had. I left Oaxaca with a renewed sense of purpose, direction, and the confidence to pursue what’s next.”
The Power of the Pause
During your week, you will:
- Pause with intention, stepping fully outside your life to create space to hear yourself think.
- Attune to what you truly value and what matters most at this stage of your life.
- Unmask the patterns, roles, and beliefs that have been keeping you stuck, and begin to let go of what no longer serves you.
- Shape a vision for what’s possible
- Embody your next chapter by speaking it out loud.
This Retreat Is For You If...

In Oaxaca, Rest Has a Name.
Over the course of the week, you’ll stay in three carefully chosen properties, each with its own character and sense of place. You begin and end in the heart of Oaxaca City, and spend the four nights at the center of our week somewhere altogether different.
Our first night in Oaxaca is at Hotel Victoria—a welcoming property in Oaxaca City that gives you a gentle first taste of the city before our retreat begins in earnest. Our final night is at NaNa Vida Hotel, giving you one last evening in the city before you head home.
For the four nights at the heart of the week, we have exclusive access to Casa Lyobaa—a private, family-owned retreat on more than three acres of the Tlacolula Valley.
In Zapotec, Lyobaa means place of rest. It earns the name.
This is not a hotel. There are no other guests. No lobby. Just our group, the gardens, the mountains, and a stillness that is genuinely hard to find. Casa Lyobaa includes:
- A large palapa surrounded by hammocks is where we gather for coaching work — open air, mountain views, no conference room energy whatsoever.
- Meditation gardens and private spaces mean there is always somewhere to sit with your thoughts when you need it.
- The pool, shared kitchen, and open living spaces become the setting for conversations that happen when women stop performing and start talking.
I came to the retreat feeling disconnected — from my work, my relationships, and myself. The coaching, the rituals, the cultural immersion — it all helped me reconnect with what truly brings me joy.
How Your Week Unfolds
Day 1 – Set Your Intentions
Private transport from the Oaxaca airport to The Hotel Victoria. An intention-setting circle and heart-opening cacao ceremony mark your arrival. A shared dinner and the beginning of something—eight women ready to rediscover possibilities.
The retreat begins at 3:30 pm.
Day 2 – Reconnect With Your Story
We begin our day exploring where you’ve been and how your story has shaped your present. A vibrant market tour, with Oaxaca Street Food Tours, will awaken your senses and offer a new lens on tradition and exploration.
In the afternoon, we’ll make our way to the boutique retreat of Casa Lyobaa, where you’ll reconnect with your core values—those that feel most true to the woman you are today—before ending the day with dinner and reflection.
Day 3 – Overcoming Your Limiting Beliefs
Today is about courage. Morning movement grounds us before diving into the fears and patterns that have kept you stuck. In our afternoon workshop, you’ll meet the inner voices within—your protector, your critic, your visionary—and access the wisdom beneath them. This is often the most transformational day of the week.
Day 4 – Embrace the Silence
From the sacred stillness of Hierve el Agua, we’ll embark on a 4.3 mile hike to the Zapotec waterfall at Las Salinas.
This is a day of spacious reflection and integration. At the waterfall, you’ll be invited to release what’s no longer serving you and reconnect with your sense of clarity and aliveness.
Day 5 – Create Your Vision
With greater self-awareness and emotional clarity, you’ll begin shaping a vision for your next chapter. Through our guided workshops, you’ll reimagine your purpose and explore possible pathways forward. A cultural visit to the ancient village of Mitla offers inspiration and a sense of spaciousness for what’s unfolding. Our evening will conclude with a traditional Zapotec temezcal (sauna) ceremony.
Day 6 – Commit to Your Future
We begin the day with a final circle to share your vision and speak your next chapter into being. Then we journey to Teotitlán del Valle, where the ancient art of rug weaving becomes a metaphor for your own transformation.
We’ll close the retreat with a celebratory dinner, honoring your growth and your reimagined path forward.
Day 7 – Departure
Private transport will return you to the airport at your leisure. You’ll leave not only rested, but transformed—with the clarity, confidence, and renewed purpose to lead and live with intention.
Whatever aspect of your life you want to transform, this is your opportunity to create the change you truly desire.

Suzanne Roske
Vamonos Executive Coaching — Leadership & Life Coach, Author & Speaker
Before founding Vamonos Executive Coaching, Suzanne spent years as a partner at PwC, leading teams and advising clients. And then, like so many of the women she works with now, she hit a moment where she had to stop and ask herself some honest questions.
That moment led to everything she does today. Her frameworks — the Power of the Pause, the Adult Gap Year, and Unmasking Leadership — grew out of her own experience of doing that work, and out of years of walking alongside others as they do it too. She is a certified coach through the Hudson Coaching Institute.
Suzanne is a mom of three, lives outside Washington, DC, and will never turn down a taco. She is happiest with sand between her toes or the smell of desert air just after it rains. She loves tacos and wandering the streets of new cities in foreign countries. Oaxaca holds a permanent place in her heart — coming back feels like coming home, and bringing others here for the first time is one of the great privileges of her work.
She does this work with Kimberly because she is her best friend, the yin to her yang, and always up for a hiking adventure.
Kimberly Manno
Metta Impact — Founder
Kimberly describes her essence simply: she is love. She means it as a statement of identity, not sentiment.
Kimberly started her career at McKinsey. Her path later took her to the Harvard Business School and onwards to India, Mexico, Colombia, Belgium, and Spain, where she worked with Fortune 500 companies, startups, and foundations. Along the way, she became fascinated by people, culture, and what it takes to wake up to your own life.
That exploration – waking up – led her to coaching and to founding Metta Impact. She is a certified coach through the Newfield Network, where she trained in ontological coaching: the study of who you are being, not just what you are doing. Over the years, she has developed a deeply human, body-centered approach that helps people get out of their heads and back into themselves, where the most important answers tend to live.
Kimberly has a gift for creating spaces where people feel safe enough to explore what is true and possible. She reads a room the way a great musician reads an audience, sensing what is needed and adjusting in real time. She helps people reconnect with who they are, discover possibilities they couldn’t see before, and take steps toward the life that is calling them.
She loves long walks that turn into life-changing conversations, passport stamps, spontaneous dance parties, and any gathering where people are willing to be real with one another. She does this work with Suzanne because she is one of her favorite humans on the planet and because helping people realign their lives is even more meaningful when they get to do it together.
Together
Suzanne and Kimberly have been best friends for years. In the room, that shows. One lives in her head, the other in her heart — and together they hold a space that is both rigorous and deeply human. You will feel the trust between them, and it will make it easier to trust the process yourself.
The retreat with Suzanne and Kimberly was one of the most grounding and transformative experiences I’ve had.
